## Description

**POSITION SUMMARY:**

The Power Bi & Power Platforms Developer bridges the gap between business needs and technology by transforming raw data into meaningful reports and automating business processes to improve operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making

**Key Responsibilities and Skills:  
  
Solution design and development**

-   Design and develop custom business applications using PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven). 
-   Create automated workflows and optimize processes with Power Automate. 
-   Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable data insights. 
-   Build and manage data models and ensure data integrity. 

**Collaboration and requirements gathering**

-   Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and pain points. 
-   Act as a technical contact for senior management and end-users, providing strategic reporting support. 

**Technical management and support**

-   Maintain and update existing Power Bi and Power Automate Solution. 
-   Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Power Bi and Power Automate Solution. 
-   Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and follow best practices. 
-   Provide training and technical support to end-users.

**Documentation and Best Practices**

-   Create detailed technical documentation for developed applications. 
-   Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in the Power Platform.   
    

**Education/Experience:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
-   Intermediate experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
-   Proficiency in data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query.
-   Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehouse concepts.
-   Knowledge of data integration techniques and tools.
-   AI (Claude AI) knowledge and understanding is an asset.

**Other Job Requirements:**

-   Must have a strong command of the English language

**Standard Hours of Work**

Common work schedule is Monday through Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm
