## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Neonatologist** to join our leading healthcare facility in Oman. The successful candidate will provide specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns in the **Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)** and work closely with pediatric, obstetric, and multidisciplinary teams.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide comprehensive medical care to premature, low-birth-weight, and critically ill newborns.
-   Manage neonatal emergencies, respiratory distress, sepsis, jaundice, and other neonatal conditions.
-   Provide care for babies requiring mechanical ventilation, CPAP, and other respiratory support.
-   Manage neonatal complications and coordinate appropriate investigations and treatment.
-   Conduct neonatal assessments and monitor growth, development, and clinical progress.
-   Work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, neonatal nurses, and other specialists.
-   Counsel parents regarding the newborn's condition, treatment, prognosis, and follow-up.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
-   Participate in NICU quality improvement, clinical audits, and multidisciplinary meetings.
-   Participate in on-call duties and emergency neonatal coverage.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
-   MD / DNB / MRCPCH / Arab Board / equivalent recognized qualification in **Neonatology / Pediatrics with Neonatal Fellowship**.
-   Valid or eligible **Oman medical license**.
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization experience in Neonatology**.
-   Strong NICU experience with premature and critically ill newborns.
-   Experience with neonatal ventilation and critical care is required.
-   Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
