## Description

We are looking for a High School English Teacher for a high school international program in Zibo, Shandong Province. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 school year starting in August 2026.

About the school

Located in Zhangdian District, Zibo, Shandong Province, the school offers a blend of Chinese and international education for high school students. As an authorized IB World School, it provides students with an internationally minded learning environment focused on academic development, independent thinking, and university preparation, helping students build the skills needed for further studies in China and overseas.

Job responsibilities

-   Teach IB English B courses to high school students in English or bilingually, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
-   Prepare lessons, teaching materials, assessments, and academic support according to the curriculum requirements
-   Develop a clear understanding of the syllabus, identify key teaching objectives, and create effective teaching plans
-   Help students improve their English language skills, learning strategies, critical thinking, and academic confidence
-   Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide clear feedback to support continued improvement
-   Participate in school training, teaching research, lectures, meetings, and other academic activities
-   Collaborate with fellow educators and contribute to the development and improvement of the school’s curriculum

## Requirements

-   Bachelor degree or above in English, Education, Literature, Linguistics, or a related subject
-   International teaching certificate or relevant teaching qualification
-   Three or more years of teaching experience in an international education setting
-   Solid academic background and strong subject knowledge
-   IBDP teaching experience is preferred
