## Description

We are conducting a search on behalf of one of our **valued clients** for a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead, modernize, and elevate their Talent Acquisition function.

This is an opportunity for a strategic, entrepreneurial TA leader who can take an existing recruiting organization and transform it into a high-performing, scalable, and business-focused function.

The ideal candidate brings a **modern approach to Talent Acquisition**, combined with strong operational discipline and an **agency mindset**—treating the business and hiring managers as clients and delivering measurable results.

The organization’s recruiting environment is approximately **80% highly skilled blue-collar and sales hiring and 20% corporate recruiting**, making experience across these talent segments particularly valuable.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Lead the overall Talent Acquisition strategy and function, aligning recruiting priorities with business objectives.
-   Modernize and optimize recruiting processes, systems, technology, metrics, and workflows.
-   Build a high-performing, scalable recruiting operation with clear accountability and measurable results.
-   Develop innovative sourcing and recruiting strategies for highly skilled, blue-collar, sales, and corporate talent.
-   Establish an **agency-style service model** focused on responsiveness, partnership, candidate quality, and speed.
-   Partner closely with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver against hiring goals.
-   Establish meaningful Talent Acquisition metrics and use data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
-   Build a strong candidate experience and employer brand.
-   Lead, coach, and develop the Talent Acquisition team.
-   Evaluate and optimize external recruiting partnerships and other talent resources.
-   Position Talent Acquisition as a strategic competitive advantage for the organization.

## Requirements

-   Significant experience leading Talent Acquisition/recruiting teams in a complex organization.
-   Proven experience recruiting **highly skilled blue-collar and/or sales talent**, along with corporate professionals.
-   A track record of modernizing, transforming, or scaling a Talent Acquisition function.
-   An entrepreneurial, innovative, and **agency-minded approach** to recruiting.
-   Strong business acumen and the ability to partner effectively with senior leadership.
-   A metrics-driven approach with a strong focus on accountability, efficiency, and results.
-   Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
-   Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
-   Experience building recruiting processes and infrastructure that support organizational growth.
