### Hazmat Qualified Operator

**Project Overview:** We are commencing a new project and are seeking a Hazmat qualified operator. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating extended reach forklifts and skid steers. This role demands dedication, commitment, and a strong emphasis on safety.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Operate extended reach forklifts and skid steers in a safe and efficient manner.
-   Handle hazardous materials with strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
-   Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure operational safety.
-   Coordinate with the project team to achieve project goals and timelines.
-   Conduct site assessments and participate in safety meetings.
-   Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
-   Respond to emergencies and hazardous material spills following established procedures.

## Requirements

**Requirements:**

-   **Certification:** Must have completed 40 hours of HAZWOPER training with an 8-hour refresher.
-   **Experience:** Prior experience operating extended reach forklifts and skid steers.
-   **Skills:** Strong understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous materials handling.
-   **Attributes:** Dedication, commitment, and a high regard for safety.
-   **Physical Requirements:** Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various environmental conditions.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

-   Additional certifications related to hazardous material handling.
-   Previous experience in a similar role within a project-based environment.
-   Strong communication and teamwork skills.
