Softeta is looking for a Network Engineer to become a part of our vibrant team and will be work for our client from energy sector.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Perform configuration and commissioning of network infrastructure and connected devices during project execution.
-   Configure, test, and troubleshoot Cisco switches and firewalls during commissioning activities.
-   Verify network connectivity, routing, VLANs, redundancy mechanisms, and overall system integration.
-   Provide remote support for offshore installations once connectivity has been established.
-   Implement, modify, and maintain firewall policies and network configurations in accordance with operational requirements.
-   Support a high volume of network changes during the transition to offshore operations, including frequent updates to firewall rules, routing, and network segmentation.
-   Troubleshoot network-related issues and support incident resolution in collaboration with project and operations teams.

## Requirements

-   Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including switch configuration, VLANs, routing, and troubleshooting.
-   Cisco certification (CCNA or higher) or equivalent practical experience.
-   Proven experience with FortiGate firewalls and FortiOS administration.
-   Experience managing firewall policies, NAT, access control rules, and network security configurations.
-   Ability to work independently during commissioning and site activities.
-   Experience supporting critical infrastructure, industrial, energy, or offshore environments is highly desirable.

Nice to have:

-   Knowledge of industrial networking concepts and network segmentation.
-   Familiarity with remote troubleshooting and support of operational environments.
-   Experience working in commissioning projects and brownfield environments where network changes must be carefully controlled.
