## Description

Our client, The Washington Group (Northwestern Mutual), is hiring for the Director of Onboarding & CLR Coordinator. This position is responsible for overseeing the onboarding, contracting, licensing, registration, and readiness process for new candidates and staff. This role serves as the liaison between candidates, recruiters, leaders, the Network Office, and Home Office partners to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and timely completion of all Contracting, Licensing, and Registration (CLR) requirements. The Director of Onboarding & CLR Coordinator supports candidate readiness, tracks onboarding progress, troubleshoots issues, and collaborates across departments to ensure successful preparation for training and field entry.

Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

·       Conduct action plan meetings for full-time candidates and represent the CLR department by outlining all contracting and licensing requirements prior to training.

·       Serve as liaison between the CLR department, recruiters, local onboarding support teams, and leaders to provide updates on candidate progress leading up to training.

·       Assist candidates throughout the pre-training process and troubleshoot CLR-related issues, including technology concerns and application questions.

·       Meet regularly with the Director of Training and Director of Development to assess candidate readiness prior to training.

·       Assist Network Office staff with pre-training administrative tasks when appropriate, including collecting required documentation.

·       Meet regularly with the CLR Coordinator to review contract, staffing, and registration progress and ensure continuity through cross-training.

·       Track candidate onboarding progress through internal tracking systems and Home Office platforms, including Work Manager and CLR Hub.

·       Serve as liaison between the Network Office and Home Office, background check vendors, insurance bureaus, and other third-party partners to complete CLR requirements.

·       Track AFR, staff, and NMIS registration progress through Home Office systems and internal tracking tools.

·       Maintain accurate onboarding records and ensure timely completion of contracting, licensing, and registration milestones.

·       Communicate onboarding status, requirements, and procedural updates to candidates and leadership teams.

·       Support continuous improvement of onboarding processes and documentation to enhance candidate experience and operational efficiency.

·       Cross-train with CLR team members to provide coverage and maintain workflow continuity.
