## Description

PRIORITY Quality Consultants is seeking a skilled **CISO Support on Call Freelancer** to provide expert information security guidance and support on an as-needed basis. This freelance role is ideal for seasoned information security professionals who can offer flexible, timely advisory services to assist organizations in managing and mitigating cybersecurity risks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Provide on-demand support and consultation to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and security teams.
-   Assist in developing, reviewing, and improving information security policies, procedures, and standards.
-   Help identify, assess, and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
-   Support incident response activities and investigations as required.
-   Advise on compliance with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity frameworks.
-   Collaborate with IT, risk management, and business units to ensure security best practices are followed.
-   Deliver expert recommendations on security tools, technologies, and strategies.

## Requirements

-   Proven experience in information security and cyber risk management.
-   Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, or similar.
-   Experience supporting or working alongside CISO functions.
-   Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to work independently and respond promptly to urgent security issues.
-   Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
-   Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
