## Description

Senior Unix Systems Engineer  
  
Join a mission-critical infrastructure team powering high-availability payment systems where uptime, security, and performance are non-negotiable. Key Responsibilities:  
\- Administer and maintain Unix and Linux servers across production, disaster recovery, and testing environments reliably.  
\- Implement system upgrades, security hardening, patching, and proactive monitoring to ensure infrastructure stability and compliance.  
\- Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions aligned with service level agreements.  
\- Execute change, release, and deployment activities ensuring minimal disruption to critical payment systems and services.  
\- Monitor capacity, optimize performance, and support infrastructure projects while maintaining documentation and operational processes.  
  
Job Requirements:  
\- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field with strong infrastructure fundamentals and knowledge.  
\- Minimum 6 years’ experience administering Unix, Linux, and middleware environments within enterprise or financial services organizations.  
\- Hands-on expertise in scripting, automation, system monitoring, backup tools, and SAN storage technologies across environments.  
\- Experience in OS hardening, patching, performance tuning, and supporting high availability production systems effectively.  
\- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
