## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Estimator** to prepare accurate and competitive bids for commercial interior construction projects. This role is responsible for managing the estimating process from initial plan review through final proposal, with a focus on **drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and commercial flooring**.

The ideal candidate has experience performing quantity takeoffs, reviewing project documents, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and developing detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects. This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage multiple bids, work independently, and consistently deliver accurate pricing.

### Responsibilities

-   Prepare complete and competitive estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and flooring projects.
-   Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
-   Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and calculate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
-   Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive bids.
-   Identify scope gaps, exclusions, risks, and value engineering opportunities during the estimating process.
-   Prepare bid proposals and supporting documentation for submission.
-   Coordinate with project managers, operations teams, vendors, and clients throughout the bidding process.
-   Maintain organized estimating files and documentation using estimating or project management software.
-   Support project handoffs by providing estimating details and scope clarification to project teams.

## Requirements

-   3–5 years of estimating experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related interior construction trades.
-   High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
-   Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and building systems.
-   Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
-   Experience performing accurate quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
-   Proficiency with construction estimating or project management software preferred.
-   Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-   Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
-   Commercial interior construction experience is required.
