## Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified **Consultant Medical Oncologist** to join a reputed private healthcare group in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive, evidence-based oncology care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, systemic therapy, follow-up, and supportive care for patients with a broad range of malignant diseases.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognized **Western Board certification in Medical Oncology** and have strong clinical experience in a reputable hospital or cancer centre.

## Requirements

Provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and management of patients with various types and stages of cancer.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on current evidence, clinical guidelines, pathology, imaging, and molecular/genetic findings where appropriate.

Prescribe and manage systemic anti-cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy within the appropriate scope of practice.

Monitor treatment response, toxicity, complications, and patient outcomes.

Coordinate multidisciplinary cancer care with surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, specialist nurses, and allied healthcare professionals.

Participate in multidisciplinary tumour boards and case discussions.

Provide appropriate cancer screening, prevention, risk assessment, and survivorship care.

Manage cancer-related symptoms and provide supportive and palliative care when clinically appropriate.

Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, treatment options, potential risks, and expected outcomes.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.

Follow international oncology guidelines and evidence-based clinical practices.

Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.

Contribute to clinical education, mentoring, and professional development activities.

Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and the policies of the healthcare group.
