**The Role**

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager, Perpetual, to set the product strategy for the perpetuals platform, leads the PM function, and is the primary product decision-maker for everything from contract design to post-launch roadmap. This is a hands‑on leadership role that owns the direction: which features get built, in what order, and why. You will represent product in executive conversations, define how the business competes, and be accountable for whether the perps platform wins and retains traders over the long term.

As our Senior Product Manager, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: 

-   Set and own the perpetuals product roadmap: prioritise the feature backlog from pre-launch through to post-launch growth, balancing trader needs, commercial targets, and regulatory constraints.
-   Make the strategic product decisions on contract design, leverage framework, margin modes, fee structure, and competitive positioning against market competitors and emerging DEX venues.
-   Lead the perps PM function: manage and mentor the Product Manager, establish spec and review standards, and ensure delivery quality across all product workstreams.
-   Own executive-level product communication: roadmap reviews with leadership, launch readiness sign-off, and post-launch performance reporting.
-   Define how Pepperstone differentiates its perps product in key markets; own the competitive analysis function and translate findings into product decisions.
-   Align engineering, compliance, legal, finance, and commercial teams around the product strategy; resolve cross-functional conflicts and unblock delivery.
-   Establish the product operating model for perps: how specs are written, how decisions are made, how trade-offs are documented, and how the team iterates after launch.

**About you**

-   7+ years product management with at least 3 years at a CEX or DEX; direct perpetual-futures product ownership required.
-   Bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese (verbal + written).
-   Deep expertise in order-book mechanics, margin systems, liquidation engines, funding rates, and ADL; able to make configuration decisions without technical support.
-   Track record owning a crypto derivatives product through full lifecycle: launch, stabilisation, and competitive growth phase.
-   Demonstrated ability to lead a PM team and raise the quality of product work across a delivery organisation.
-   Strong communicator at executive level: can present product strategy, defend prioritisation decisions, and align diverse stakeholders.
-   Committed to ongoing learning and development.

**Desirable:**

-   Experience launching a crypto derivatives product into multiple regulated markets simultaneously.
-   Background in CFD, FX, or traditional broker product environments, bridging TradFi and crypto.
-   Experience building or scaling a product team from scratch.
-   Hands-on use of agentic AI tooling (e.g., Claude) for roadmap analysis, spec drafting, and competitor benchmarking.
