## Description

_Real opportunities. Real impact. Your career, redefined._

(NOTE: A human reviews every application at Oceans, **so please apply for only one position and only once a year**—if you're a better fit for another role, we’ll route your application accordingly and if we’re not quite ready for you, we’ll reach back out later.)

At Oceans, we believe that talent knows no boundaries. That’s why we connect the best and brightest professionals with career-defining opportunities that challenge, inspire, and accelerate their career growth. Our community, whom we call **Divers**, don’t just work—they dive deep, solve complex challenges, and make a real impact with global industry leaders. And in doing so, they don’t just support bold ideas—they expand their skills, broaden their expertise, and grow their careers.

As a **Senior Website Implementation Specialist**, you will join a growing multifamily real estate firm supporting a nationwide portfolio of residential properties. You will take hands-on technical ownership of the client’s Drupal CMS ecosystem hosted on Acquia, translating project briefs, visual assets, and content into robust, fully functioning property websites. Because the client’s web infrastructure requires customized configurations rather than simple drag-and-drop templates, you will balance custom backend coding with disciplined content management to deliver reliable digital experiences.

This is a high-ownership, execution-driven role for a disciplined technical specialist. You will become a core pillar of a nimble, high-focus web team, driving new website implementations from scratch, managing ticket queues against strict SLAs, replicating established configurations across expanding property portfolios, and ensuring rigorous quality assurance before handoff. If you excel at autonomous troubleshooting, structured file management, and leveraging modern AI workflows to accelerate backend development, this role will offer direct ownership and substantial impact.

### **Accountability**

As a Senior Website Implementation Specialist, your success will be defined by your ability to accurately build, maintain, and expand property websites within a customized Drupal and Acquia environment while independently managing ticket queues against SLAs and maintaining flawless QA readiness.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

### Drupal Implementation & Custom Backend Development

- Build, configure, and maintain residential property websites within the client's Acquia-hosted Drupal architecture.
- Implement and adapt website templates and structured CMS components using supplied briefs and creative assets.
- Perform custom backend coding and manual configuration when native CMS functionality or standard modules are insufficient.
- Troubleshoot technical limitations, backend blockers, and implementation bugs, ensuring strict compatibility with existing environments.
Follow established Acquia Cloud deployment, staging, and hosting workflows while maintaining clean technical documentation.

### New Website Builds, Replication & Portfolio Expansion

- Execute end-to-end new property website implementations based on briefs provided by project management.
- Replicate established web architectures across expanding portfolio properties, efficiently reusing templates while customizing property-specific data and content.
- Configure components, verify asset mappings, and ensure visual and functional consistency across all portfolio sites.
- Prepare and stage newly built and replicated sites for formal testing, ensuring all features execute seamlessly prior to launch.

### Website Ticket Queue & SLA Management

- Serve as the primary owner of the incoming website support and maintenance ticket queue.
- Triage, prioritize, and resolve change requests, content updates, and technical adjustments in accordance with established SLAs.
- Maintain real-time, accurate ticket statuses, track resolution deadlines, and proactively flag potential service-level delays.
- Balance daily maintenance tickets and recurring support requests alongside active, high-priority website builds.

### Quality Assurance, Testing & Asset Governance

- Conduct thorough functional and visual testing on all website builds and updates prior to QA handoff.
- Validate content placement, responsiveness, cross-browser performance, and template consistency to eliminate avoidable rework.
- Address QA feedback systematically, resolving defects and verifying that all technical requirements are fulfilled.
- Maintain rigorous file and asset organization across repositories, following strict naming conventions and directory standards to ensure zero asset misplacement.

### AI-Enabled Engineering & Continuous Process Improvement

- Incorporate AI tools (such as Claude) into daily technical workflows to investigate code, troubleshoot bugs, and accelerate repetitive implementation tasks.
- Rigorously review, test, and validate all AI-assisted code suggestions to ensure technical integrity, security, and performance.
- Identify recurring implementation bottlenecks and propose structured improvements to standardize builds.
- Develop and update technical setup checklists, SOPs, and repeatable documentation to improve team efficiency as the web platform evolves.

### Colleagues

You will work directly with the Website Project Manager as your primary day-to-day operational lead, while collaborating with existing website developers and cross-functional technical stakeholders during standups, testing cycles, and deployments.

At Oceans, you’ll also receive guidance and support from your Operations Manager, who will help you succeed in the role and ensure that you’re continuously growing and developing in your career.

### Skills and Qualifications

At Oceans, we believe in T-shaped individuals—those who bring deep expertise in one area, paired with broad curiosity and interests. As a Senior Website Implementation Specialist, your vertical strength will be hands-on Drupal backend development and CMS implementation, while your horizontal capabilities should span ticket queue prioritization, QA discipline, AI-assisted development, and structured technical communication.

To excel in this role, you should have:

- **Experience:** 4+ years of professional web development and CMS implementation experience, with dedicated,hands-on expertise building and maintaining customized Drupal websites.
- **Tools & Systems:** Extensive proficiency with Drupal backend architecture, modules, and configurations; hands-on experience operating within the Acquia Cloud ecosystem; familiarity with project management platforms (Notion or similar) and ticketing systems (Jira or similar).
- **Analytics & Process:** Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume ticketing queues, monitor SLA commitments, and execute rigorous QA testing protocols. Strong track record of following disciplined documentation, checklist-driven workflows, and standardized file structures.
- **Mindset & Approach:** Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined execution style; comfortable operating with low to moderate extraversion in an autonomous, heads-down technical role. Proactive in asking clarifying questions before building rather than relying on unverified assumptions.
- **AI Fluency:** Practical comfort integrating AI tools (e.g., Claude) to streamline code investigation, debugging, and task automation, paired with the engineering judgment to validate and test all outputs manually.

During the interview process, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills in the following areas:

- **Drupal Architecture & Custom Backend Coding:** How do you navigate, customize, and write backend logic within an established, non-productized Drupal CMS environment?
- **Acquia & Environment Troubleshooting:** How do you diagnose and resolve hosting, deployment, or environment-specific issues across connected web infrastructure?
- **Ticket Ownership & SLA Prioritization:** How do you balance active, multi-week website builds with incoming,time-sensitive maintenance tickets without missing delivery targets?
- **Quality Assurance & Attention to Detail:** What systematic steps and checklists do you employ to ensure builds and asset placements are completely defect-free before QA handoff?
- **AI-Assisted Workflow & Verification:** How do you safely leverage tools like Claude to accelerate technical problem-solving while validating accuracy and maintainability?

Diversity of experience is core to Oceans. You are expected to work inclusively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, ensuring that both personal and collective dignity are supported.
