**Physical Therapist**

**Independence, MO**  
**Full-Time Physical Therapist**  
**$90,000–$100,000 per year, based on experience**

**What This Position Offers**

This is a full-time **Physical Therapist** opportunity in an outpatient orthopedic clinic serving patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The work is hands-on, patient-facing, and focused on helping people improve how they move, function, and manage physical limitations in everyday life.

The clinic uses **WebPT**, sees approximately **160–190 patient visits per week**, and has a clinical team made up of **2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants**. Patient ages range from **11 to 90 years old**, giving the role a strong mix of treatment needs and recovery goals.

**Work Schedule Options**

The clinic offers flexibility and would strongly prefer one of the following:

**Four 10-Hour Days, Preferred**

-   Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
-   Tuesday off weekly

**Monday–Friday Schedule**

-   Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
-   Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

**Responsibilities**

-   Perform initial evaluations and ongoing reassessments
-   Create individualized plans of care for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal needs
-   Treat pain, weakness, limited mobility, post-surgical cases, and functional movement concerns
-   Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, balance training, gait work, and mobility-focused care
-   Teach home programs and help patients understand their treatment plan
-   Track patient outcomes and make updates to care plans as needed
-   Document evaluations, visits, progress, and discharge plans in WebPT
-   Coordinate with PTAs to support patient progress and treatment consistency

## Requirements

-   Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
-   Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
-   New graduates are welcome to apply
-   Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
-   Strong communication, documentation, and patient education skills
-   Ability to work with patients across different ages and functional needs
