## Description

For our international service team, we are looking for a customer-oriented consultant to join our Hilversum office. In this role, you will be involved in the full project lifecycle—from requirements analysis and solution design through configuration, implementation, and go-live support of our client's software platform.

You will work alongside an experienced senior consultant who will guide your development as you grow into a trusted advisor for our publishing and media clients. Together with our development, operations, and project management teams, you will help translate business needs into practical, well-configured solutions.

**About Our Client**

Our client is a software company with over 30 years of experience supporting leading media and publishing organizations worldwide. From their offices in Gioia del Colle (IT), Hilversum (NL), and Berlin (GER), they deliver technology built specifically for the publishing industry, designed from the ground up to address its unique workflows and challenges, backed by deep sector expertise and future‑ready solutions.

If you’re motivated to help publishers and media companies shape their digital future, you’ll feel at home with our client. Their software and consulting services drive innovation across the industry, and their customers range from major corporate groups to independent, creative publishers. To support them, our client relies on people who are curious, collaborative, and eager to make an impact.

**The Role**

- Support and contribute to software configuration and implementation projects for international clients in the publishing industry.
- Analyse client workflows and business requirements, and help design optimal system configurations.
- Build expertise in our client's applications and advise clients on best practices and new features.
- Manage customer queries—from initial analysis through to resolution—escalating to development or operations teams where needed.
- Assist with project planning, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with product management to channel client feedback into product development
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and service delivery.

## Requirements

- Some professional experience (1–3 years) in IT consulting, software implementation, application support, or a similar client-facing technical role.
- A background in IT, publishing, or a related field—whether through education or work experience.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or business software; experience in the publishing industry is a plus but not required.
- Analytical thinker with a structured approach to problem-solving and the drive to take ownership of tasks.
- Clear communicator who can explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A collaborative team player who also enjoys working directly with customers.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Solid knowledge of MS Office; experience with SQL and relational databases is welcomed.
- Open to working with AI-assisted tools and modern collaboration platforms.
- Driving license for occasional travel to client sites.

## Benefits

- Hands-on guidance from an experienced senior consultant who will mentor your growth from day one.
- A role where you can develop real expertise in publishing technology and ERP consulting.
- An international team with offices across Europe, including our headquarters in Berlin.
- Hybrid working model: on-site presence in Hilversum or at a client location two days per week.
- Clear career progression into senior consulting, project management, account management, or product specialist roles.
- Extensive onboarding program with continuous learning opportunities.
- Flexible working hours and the option to work partly from home.
- Competitive salary with excellent secondary benefits.
