## Description

Our Client a multinational engineering and construction organisation is looking to hire a Secretary for their Business Development department. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives in delivering administrative efficiency in a fast-paced engineering environment and is committed to maintaining strict confidentiality.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Commercial Department to ensure operational efficiency.

-   Assist in the preparation, tracking, and management of commercial documentation and project-related administrative tasks.
-   Coordinate complex meeting schedules, prepare agendas, document detailed meeting minutes, and actively track the progress of action items to ensure timely completion.
-   Support the drafting, review, and organization of commercial contracts and correspondence.
-   Maintain a robust, secure, and accessible digital and physical archiving system for all project and departmental records.
-   Manage registrations, permit applications, and compliance filings with relevant government authorities and regulatory bodies.
-   Ensure all departmental documentation aligns with local regulatory standards.
-   Execute ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating adaptability and a solution-oriented approach.

## Requirements

-   Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Administrative Management. A Bachelors Degree is Preferred.
-   Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, preferably within the engineering, construction or a related commercial sector that engages often with Government agencies.
-   Advanced command of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
-   Familiarity with Zambian government procedures, regulatory compliance, and local business practices is highly preferred.
-   Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of handling multiple priorities under pressure.
-   Proven ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
-   Strong interpersonal and written communication skills suitable for a multinational corporate environment.
