## Description

**Team:** Research and Investment, 2070 Health (W Health Ventures)

**Location:** Delhi or Bangalore, India (onsite, in office)

**Experience:** 5 to 7 years

**Type:** Full-time, individual contributor, non-client-facing

**About 2070 Health**

2070 Health is India's first venture studio, established by W Health Ventures. It builds healthcare companies from scratch by identifying gaps in the market that remain unserved. Unlike an accelerator, the studio is directly involved in idea generation, daily operations, and strategic decisions as each company grows. Companies established in the last 24 months include Elevate Now, Nivaan Care, Reveal Healthtech, BabyMD, Everhope Oncology, and Everbright Health.

**About the role**

The Growth and Outreach Associate is responsible for running the studio's outbound engine end to end. This is not a standard SDR position. The role covers AI-assisted outreach across email and LinkedIn, with ownership of every component: data, sending infrastructure, copy, testing, and results.

This is a non-client-facing role. It builds and runs the outbound engine. Booked conversations and any client, customer, or investor relationships are handled by the research and investment teams, not by this role.

**End-to-end experience required**

This role requires hands-on experience across the entire outbound workflow. Candidates who have owned only individual parts of the process, with other functions or agencies handling the remainder, are not suited to this position. The workflow, owned end to end, includes the following.

- **Data sourcing.** Building target lists from a defined ICP rather than inherited or purchased lists.
- **Data enrichment and hygiene.** Verifying, deduplicating, and completing records.
- **Sending infrastructure.** Setting up domains, mailboxes, warmup, and sending limits, whether directly or through a platform such as Instantly, with a clear understanding of how each functions.
- **Deliverability.** Diagnosing and resolving bounces, spam placement, and declines in reply rates.
- **Copywriting.** Producing cold emails that generate replies from a US audience, without reliance on mail-merge.
- **Campaign execution.** Running multi-touch sequences across email and LinkedIn, including follow-ups.
- **Measurement and optimization.** Tracking performance, running tests, and improving reply rates and meetings booked.

This experience must be current and hands-on, not drawn from a role held several years ago.

**Scope of work**

The role supports two use cases.

1\. New thesis research and early sales. Working with the research team to test new company ideas in healthcare. This involves identifying the experts, clinicians, operators, and potential customers worth engaging, running outreach to book those conversations, and returning the resulting signal in a form the team can act on.

2\. Fund outreach. Expanding the fund's relationships through researched, personalized outreach to downstream investors and potential LPs, including building and maintaining target lists, running sequences, and managing follow-up.

**Working model**

The role operates on a project basis. Deliverables and timelines are defined at the outset, after which the Associate sets priorities independently and reports progress on an agreed cadence. Performance is measured on outcomes rather than daily activity. The role does not include daily task assignment or supervision.

**AI fluency**

- AI fluency is central to this role. The expectation is practical, demonstrated use rather than familiarity. Relevant capabilities include the following.
- Researching accounts and personalizing outreach at scale using tools such as Claude, rather than generic templates.
- Building AI steps into the pipeline, for example Clay AI columns or prompt chains, so that repetitive work is automated.
- Connecting tools through light automation using Zapier, n8n, or custom scripts.
- Evaluating new tools as they become available and retaining those that add value.
- Primary tools: Apollo, Clay, Smartlead or Instantly, and a CRM such as HubSpot.

**Growth path**

This position establishes a new function at 2070 Health. For at least the first three quarters it will operate as a single-person team. Based on results, the function is expected to expand, at which point the role would involve building and leading the team. The scope of ownership and the opportunity to build are significant, as is the pace of learning the role requires.

The position sits at the intersection of venture building, investing, and go-to-market, with visibility across both new company ideas and the fund itself.

## Requirements

**Requirements**

- 5 to 7 years of experience, the majority in hands-on cold outreach that booked meetings, with campaigns run directly by the candidate.
- A record of owning a metric such as reply rate, meetings booked, or pipeline, with accountability for the outcome rather than task completion.
- Direct experience at an early-stage company where outreach was owned as a sole function. Additional experience at a larger, more structured organization is an advantage, as it indicates exposure to outreach at scale.
- Experience running outreach to US prospects, with the ability to write for that audience.
- Strong written English, producing cold emails that read as though written by a person.
- The ability to learn quickly, given limited ramp-up time.
- Healthcare experience is an advantage but not a requirement.

**This role is not a fit if**

- Campaign experience is limited to data, sending infrastructure, and copy prepared by others.
- Daily direction and task management are required to remain productive.
- Outreach experience is several years old and has since given way to a management role rather than direct execution.
- Only parts of the workflow described above have been performed, with the remainder to be learned on the job.
- Experience comes from a large organization in which separate teams owned each stage of the process and only one stage was owned directly.
