## Description

### **Summary:** 

This role entails assisting with daily deliveries operations of the warehouse, handling of incoming stock, packing and shipping orders. 

**Reports to:** Logistics Coordinator**Location:** Stikland, Cape Town**Schedule:** Monday – Thursday 08:00-16:30 & Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.**Salary:** Market related

### Responsibilities:

**Key Duties:**

-   Pick and fill orders from stock.
-   Pack and ship orders.
-   Ensure packed and shipped orders are loaded and secured for delivery.
-   Assist with daily deliveries.
-   Support and assist Drivers on the road with deliveries.
-   Complete and capture delivery documentation accurately.
-   Engage professionally with clients during deliveries.
-   Hand over (load) orders for clients at the dispatch area.
-   Perform deliveries if Drivers are unavailable or as needed.
-   Assist with vehicle checks in support of Drivers.
-   Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas.
-   Assist with warehouse equipment where needed, e.g. forklifts and stackers.
-   Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment.
-   Work with and support warehouse staff in the daily operation of the warehouse.
-   Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

## Requirements

-   At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role

-   Grade 12  / Matric 
-   Valid Code 10 Drivers license 
-   Experience with deliveries and handling of inventory. 
-   Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks - advantageous
-   Experience within food service equipment industry - advantageous
-   Experience engaging with clients - advantageous
