## Description

We are seeking reliable, compassionate, professional, and dedicated **Home Health Aides (HHA)** to join our team in **STATEN ISLAND, NY 10301**. As a HHA, you will assist with on-to-one, companion care, and clinic visits. This position offers flexible scheduling; however, **we are prioritizing candidates who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule.**

**Per Diem Openings:** 7AM-3PM or 8AM-4PM (Day)

The hourly rate is $20/hr. and the overtime & holiday rate is $30/hr.

Our pay period is Sunday to Saturday and pay is weekly (every Thursday via direct deposit)

### Responsibilities

-   Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, and assistance with mobility.
-   Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
-   Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping tasks.
-   Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and caring environment.
-   Adhere to care plans and protocols as required to ensure quality care is delivered.
-   Maintain documentation of client care and progress according to agency standards.
-   Comply with safety and infection control procedures while providing care.

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Home Health Aide training program is preferred.
-   HHA certification is a plus
-   Previous experience in home healthcare or similar roles is advantageous.
-   Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
-   Ability to work independently and with a flexible schedule.
-   Basic knowledge of personal care procedures and safety standards.
