## Description

We are looking for an experienced BI Engineer with strong expertise in Power BI, SSRS, SQL, and data analytics to join our Digital Products & Data Analytics engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing enterprise-grade dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, hands-on reporting experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
-   Build visually compelling, scalable, and performance-optimized Power BI reports.
-   Develop and maintain SSRS reports to support business reporting requirements.
-   Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
-   Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.
-   Perform data analysis and validate data quality to ensure reporting accuracy.
-   Develop and support ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
-   Work with structured and large-scale datasets to support analytics and reporting initiatives.
-   Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, and Business teams to deliver high-quality reporting solutions.
-   Troubleshoot report performance issues and implement optimization techniques.
-   Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
-   Maintain documentation, reporting standards, and development best practices.

### Required Technical Skills

### Power BI

-   Strong hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
-   Expertise in creating interactive visualizations and analytical dashboards.
-   Experience with Power BI data modelling.
-   Strong knowledge of DAX.
-   Experience with Power Query (M Language).
-   Ability to optimize dashboard performance.

### SSRS

-   Strong experience developing enterprise SSRS reports.
-   Experience creating parameterized reports.
-   Report deployment and maintenance.
-   Report optimization and scheduling.

### SQL

-   Excellent SQL programming skills.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-   Experience writing complex SQL queries.
-   Stored Procedures.
-   Views.
-   Joins.
-   Performance tuning.

### Good to Have Skills

-   Experience working in Banking or Financial Services.
-   ETL development experience.
-   Hands-on experience with PySpark.
-   Exposure to Data Engineering concepts.
-   Experience working with large enterprise datasets.
