**Position Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced **Operating Room Registered Nurse** to join the dynamic surgical team at a premier academic medical center. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing duties across multiple surgical specialties, providing exceptional care in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Perform circulating and scrubbing duties in various surgical procedures
-   Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
-   Monitor and maintain sterile field throughout procedures
-   Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
-   Document patient care accurately and completely
-   Manage operating room equipment and inventory

## Requirements

**Qualifications:**

-   **Education:** Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
-   **Licensure:** Active New York State RN license; BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain).
-   **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required.
-   **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in general, ortho, trauma, neuro, and robotics cases. Must be able to scrub in addition to circulating duties
-   **Soft Skills:** Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure surgical environments.
