## Description

**U.S. Education Technology Company is seeking a full-time Remote Admissions Coordinator (Inbound Sales Coordinator)**

**Location:** Remote

**Hours:** Full-time

**Time Zone:** U.S. Eastern Time (EST)

**Terms:** Independent Contractor

**Compensation:** $14/HR. | Salary-based (No Commission)

Includes PTO and additional benefits, which will be discussed during onboarding.

**ABOUT THE ROLE:**

A privately-held high growth education company based in the United States is hiring a remote **Admissions Coordinator** to help prospective students move through the admissions process with clarity, warmth, and momentum.

This is a phone-first role. You should be comfortable spending much of the day speaking with applicants, answering questions, explaining next steps, and helping people feel confident about continuing through the process.

You will also manage the admissions email, keep applicant records clean in the internal admissions platform, and coordinate with the clinical site team when an applicant has site-related context. The platform tracks applicant status, notes, automated emails, application scoring, quiz results, references, and admissions tasks. Your job is to use that system well, keep the human follow-up moving, and escalate exceptions when needed.

**ABOUT THE COMPANY:**

Our client is a fast-growing U.S.-based healthcare education company that trains future MRI technologists through online learning, structured admissions, and clinical training support. We are building a faster, clearer, and more student-friendly path into a high-demand healthcare career.

**ABOUT YOU:**

You are warm, clear, organized, and excellent on the phone. You like talking to people, can guide someone through an important career decision, and can make an applicant feel supported while still keeping the process moving. You are also detail-oriented. You can keep notes clean, follow up quickly, manage an inbox, and coordinate across internal teams without letting things fall through the cracks.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

- Spend a large part of the day on calls with prospective students and applicants.
- Make applicants feel supported, informed, and excited to complete the next step.
- Manage admissions email communication, including the admissions inbox.
- Guide applicants through calls, homework, references, interviews, and enrollment tasks.
- Keep applicant statuses, notes, and follow-up actions accurate in the internal admissions platform.
- Capture and communicate clinical site context, including applicant location, employer/site relationship, and site contact details.
- Coordinate with the clinical site team when an applicant's site situation needs review or follow-up.
- Send or trigger appropriate applicant communications through the admissions platform.
- Flag exceptions, blockers, or unusual applicant situations to the right internal owner.

## Requirements

- At least 2+ years experience in a customer-facing role such as inbound sales rep, sales coordinator, account manager, or account executive.

- Strong phone presence: warm, clear, confident, patient, and persuasive without being pushy.

- Perfect written and verbal command of English (C2+)
- Extroverted and willing to spend most of the workday on applicant calls and follow-ups.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Systems experience with a CRM (PipeDrive is a plus), Google Suite (especially Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Drive), and AI tools.
- Familiarity with other tools like Asana and Slack is a plus.
- Bachelor Degree or higher (summa, magna or cum laude and/or Academic Scholar from a reputable college preferred)

**PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:**

- Experience in admissions, enrollment, recruiting, customer support, inside sales, or student services.
- Experience managing an email inbox or operational queue.
- Experience working with U.S.-based customers or applicants.
- Healthcare, education, or training-program experience.
