## Description

LV Petroleum is a leading operator of travel centers, offering fuel, convenience store items, and dining services across multiple locations. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Prep Cook** to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will play an essential role in food preparation, ensuring that our dishes are prepared with the highest quality and efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and marinating to ensure all food is prepped in accordance with recipes and safety standards.
-   Assist the cooking staff in meal preparation, ensuring all items are ready for service.
-   Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen prep areas and tools.
-   Monitor and maintain proper food safety and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen.
-   Properly label and store food items for freshness and compliance with health regulations.
-   Collaborate with team members to support efficient kitchen operations and timely meal delivery.
-   Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies when necessary.

## Requirements

-   Previous experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar food preparation role is preferred.
-   Basic knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures.
-   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
-   Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
-   Strong communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff.
-   Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
-   A passion for food preparation and creating high-quality meals is a plus.
