**Help Bring the World's Biggest Social Justice Movements to Life**

Chuffed.org is a global crowdfunding platform powering the world's biggest social justice movements. Since 2013, we've worked alongside grassroots organizers, whistleblowers, and movement builders to understand what they actually need from a fundraising platform. Chuffed campaigns have raised over $350 million for social justice causes around the world - from legal defense funds to climate justice campaigns to mutual aid in Palestine - across 60,000 campaigns, 23 countries, and 3.5 million donors. We're part of a broader ecosystem of people proving that when communities come together, they can disrupt even the most powerful, entrenched systems.

We're looking for a Social Media Content Creator to edit, voice, and produce the short-form video and photo content that brings our campaigns to life across Instagram and other platforms. This is a hands-on production role: you'll consistently create content that stops the scroll.

**🔥 About The Role**

You'll be the person behind the edit and the mic, turning campaign moments, organizer footage, and raw material into polished, high-performing reels and carousels. You'll work independently, manage your own workflow, and deliver reliably, without needing close oversight.

This role is focused purely on content production. You won't be responsible for strategy, planning, or community management, someone else on the team owns that. Your job is to make what gets planned look and feel great.

**✏️ What You'll Do**

- Produce short-form video. Edit and produce polished vertical reels, including recording voiceover, from sourcing and organizing raw footage to pacing, captions, sound, and effects.
- Design carousels. Put together high-quality carousel posts for feed use.
- Deliver consistently. **Produce a steady output of 3 pieces of content per week, on time and to a high standard.**
- Work independently. Take a brief or raw material and run with it, checking your own work for quality and brand fit before it's handed off.
- Bring craft to the work. Apply strong editing instincts, pacing, and visual judgment to make content that performs.
- Stay flexible. Adapt to shifting priorities and fast-turnaround requests as urgent campaigns emerge.

## Requirements

**💡 What We're Looking For**

- We care more about your portfolio and your reliability than your resume. If you recognize yourself in the traits below, we want to hear from you:
- You're a skilled editor. You know your way around editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar) and can produce clean, well-paced short-form video quickly.
- You have a good eye. You understand what makes a photo or video feel authentic, current, and platform-native.
- You're self-directed. You can take a brief and deliver without hand-holding, and you catch your own mistakes before anyone else does.
- You're reliable. You hit deadlines consistently and communicate early if something's off track.
- You're comfortable with feedback. You take direction well and iterate without getting precious about the work.
- You care about the mission. You don't need to be an activist yourself, but you're excited to put your craft toward social justice storytelling.

## Benefits

**💥 What You'll Get**

- $40–50 CAD/hr, depending on experience, for 10–15 hours/week on a flexible freelance basis.
- Work from anywhere in Canada. Fully remote, with flexibility over when and how you work, as long as the content ships on time.
- Do work that matters. Your editing and voiceover work will directly help frontline organizers and social justice campaigns reach bigger audiences.
- Join a values-aligned team. We're building a diverse, inclusive team, and we strongly encourage people from all backgrounds and lived experiences to apply.

**🙌 Don't Meet Every Requirement?**

That's ok. We're not checking boxes here. If you're a strong content creator excited about the mission, we encourage you to apply.
