## Description

**Job Title: Medical Virtual Assistant** 

**Type: Full-Time**

**Work Schedule: 11:00 PM–9:00 AM EST,  Monday - Thursday  
Training Schedule: 9:00 AM to 3:00/4:00 PM EST Monday - Friday**

**Salary: $5 - $6 per hour**

**Workplace: Remote**

**Preferred Location: Philippines**

### Key Responsibilities:

-   **Medical Receptionist**: Medical Receptionist: Manage patient interactions, coordinate appointments, and handle patient inquiries. Monitor emails/calls, schedule non-emergency and emergency appointments, and provide customer support for our team overnight.
-   **Patient Records Management**: Oversee and maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
-   **Medical Administration**: Provide administrative support, including document preparation and organization, and manage communications (email and text).
-   **Billing & Coding:** Process claims, verify insurance, and code medical records accurately.
-   **Provider Support**: Assist healthcare professionals and coordinate with them for patient care.
-   **Telehealth Management:** Oversee telehealth platforms and manage virtual care.

### Qualifications:

-   **Language Skills**: Excellent English speaking skills; bilingual is a plus.
-   **Technical Proficiency:** Skilled in MS Office, Google Suite, and adaptable to evolving EMR systems (OrthoLive Proprietary EMR).
-   **Experience:** At least 1 year of extensive background in medical or healthcare environments.
-   Experience processing claims, insurance verification and coding of medical records.
-   Attributes: Energetic, positive attitude, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a fast-paced environment.
-   Virtual Presence: Must participate in virtual video conference rooms (e.g., Zoom or Google Meet)

## Requirements

### Basic Requirements

-   Must speak and write English clearly and professionally.
-   Must have relevant work experience.
-   Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding (mandatory).
-   Must be available to attend video meetings with camera on when required.

### Technical Requirements

-   Computer: Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
-   Internet: Stable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps).
-   Audio: Noise-canceling headset.
-   Video: Working webcam for virtual meetings.
-   Workspace: Quiet and professional work environment.
