## Description

This position will be for the Houston area.

-   Service and inspect fire alarm systems

-   Test fire alarm systems to ensure they are in proper working order
-   Troubleshoot and repair problems with fire alarm systems
-   Conduct routine maintenance on fire alarm systems
-   Program fire alarm systems using software
-   Keep accurate records of all fire alarm system inspections and repairs
-   Provide training to customers on fire alarm systems

  
**SKILLS:**

-   Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
-   Ability to troubleshoot and repair fire alarms
-   Knowledge of fire safety codes and standards
-   Knowledge of electrical theory and wiring techniques

## Requirements

-   Must have state FAL certification in fire alarm systems
-   Ability to troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems
-   Knowledge of applicable fire codes and standards
-   Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
-   Knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
