**Overview**

**Bassett Healthcare Network**, in Central New York is seeking a full-time BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician.

-   **Salary Range: $270,000 - $300,000.**
-   **Sign-On Bonus: up to $100,000**
-   **Location: Cooperstown, NY**

**Job Description & Responsibilities**

-   Join an established group of 3 physicians
-   Inpatient and outpatient consults
-   Outpatient longitudinal HIV care
-   Infectious disease call by phone is 1:4 
-   Opportunity to cover telehealth for non-affiliated hospitals
-   Opportunity to do clinical research, stewardship, and infection control
-   Moonlighting opportunities for inpatient internal medicine as a hospitalist 
-   Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
-   With a faculty appointment from Columbia, there is daily interaction with medical students as well as internal medicine and transitional residents

## Requirements

-   MD, DO or MBBS
-   BC/BE
-   Completion of an accredited USA Infectious Disease Fellowship
-   New York State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
-   BLS certification

**Compensation**

-   Salary Range: $270,000 - $300,000.

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards_

-   Sign-On bonus: up to $100,000
-   Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap.  Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
