## Description

Are you an experienced proposals or business development professional who enjoys bringing people together, managing deadlines and getting things over the line? Do you have a competitive drive and enjoy helping teams win new business?

We're looking for a Proposal and Enablement Manager to join our growing MBDC team. You'll play a key role across two important areas of the Group's commercial activity: managing proposals and pitches, and supporting the delivery of our Group-wide commercial enablement programme.

You'll work closely with client facing team members, MBDC colleagues and the Group Chief Growth Officer, supporting the delivery of the enablement programme whilst making sure proposals are well managed, compelling and delivered on time.

This is a hands-on management role where you will manage team members supporting lead generation, but you'll also be expected to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the work yourself.

**The Opportunity**

Proposals and Pitches

You'll create, manage and coordinate proposals and pitches from the initial opportunity through to submission and follow-up. You'll work with fee earners and MBDC colleagues to develop strong, client-focused proposals and make sure everyone knows what needs to happen and when.

You'll be responsible for keeping proposals moving, managing deadlines and making sure high-quality submissions get out of the door on time.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coordinating proposals and pitches from initial opportunity through to submission and follow-up

• Working with fee earners and MBDC colleagues to develop clear, compelling and client-focused proposal content

• Coordinating proposal timelines, responsibilities and deadlines

• Drafting, developing, reviewing and challenging proposal content

• Supporting pitch preparation, including presentations, messaging and pitch team coordination

• Maintaining and improving proposal templates, credentials, case studies and knowledge libraries

• Tracking proposal activity, outcomes and win rates to identify opportunities for improvement

• Supporting the wider MBDC team with activity that helps convert opportunities into pipeline and revenue

Commercial Enablement

You'll also support the Group Chief Growth Officer with the delivery of Kinbrook's Group-wide commercial enablement programme.

You'll help turn agreed commercial priorities into practical activity, coordinating initiatives, training and resources and making sure actions are followed through. You'll work with MBDC leaders and client facing team members to help build capability and maintain momentum across the Group.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating the Group MBDC training and enablement calendar

• Supporting the delivery of Group-wide commercial enablement initiatives

• Developing and maintaining practical tools, materials and resources to support fee earners

• Coordinating actions arising from enablement meetings and ensuring clear ownership and follow-up

• Supporting communication with the Group's Builder and Contributor communities

• Coordinating the annual individual marketing, business development and communications planning process across the enablement groups

• Tracking progress against agreed actions and milestones and highlighting any blockers

• Supporting measurement of participation, engagement and outcomes to help improve future activity

**About You**

We're looking for someone who combines strong proposal and project management skills with some people management experience and a practical, hands-on approach.

You'll be organised and comfortable managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders at once. You'll be supportive and responsive when things change, but also proactive enough to spot what needs doing before someone asks.

You'll enjoy working with people and will be comfortable supporting client facing team members and senior stakeholders, but you won't be afraid to get stuck into the detail yourself. We're looking for someone who enjoys both doing the work and coordinating others to get it done.

Ideally you'll have:

• Experience in proposals, bids, business development or a similar commercial role

• Experience managing or coordinating proposals through to submission

• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to turn information into clear and persuasive client-facing content

• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders

• Some people management experience, with the confidence to set expectations, support performance and develop others

• A proactive and responsive approach, with a strong focus on getting things done

• The confidence to work with fee earners, senior stakeholders and colleagues across the business

• Experience in a professional services environment would be highly beneficial, particularly if you've worked in a similar-sized firm where you've needed to be hands-on across a broad range of activity

• An understanding of how proposals and pitches contribute to pipeline and revenue growth

• Experience supporting training, enablement or business development activity would be advantageous

• A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive working relationships

**About Us**

Kinbrook Group brings together a growing group of businesses, combining the expertise and strong client relationships of established businesses with the opportunities, technology and resources of a wider Group.

As we continue to grow, there are exciting opportunities to work across the Group and collaborate with colleagues in different businesses and locations. This role is not restricted to one office or geography, with the opportunity to work with teams across our South West, London and East Midlands offices.

**What You'll Get**

This is a great opportunity to join Kinbrook at a time when we're building new ways of working across the Group. You'll have a varied role, with responsibility for both the day-to-day delivery of proposals and pitches and the coordination of wider commercial enablement activity.

You'll work with a broad range of people across the Group, including client facing team members, MBDC colleagues and senior stakeholders, while managing and developing a small team of your own. It's a role where you'll be able to see the impact of your work, from getting an important proposal out of the door to helping turn wider commercial priorities into action.

If you're looking for a role where you can combine proposals and commercial enablement, and where being organised, responsive and willing to get stuck in really matters, this could be a great next step for you.
