## Description

-   Define and drive the Private Label strategy across relevant categories, aligned with overall commercial and business objectives.
-   Identify white-space opportunities and build a PL product pipeline, from concept through to launch.
-   Lead category and range planning for Private Label, balancing quality, cost, and margin targets.
-   Partner closely with the Procurement/Sourcing team to identify and evaluate suppliers/manufacturers (local and international) capable of delivering PL products to spec, cost, and quality standards.
-   Negotiate commercial terms and manage supplier relationships in coordination with Procurement.
-   Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Quality Assurance, Store Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure successful product development, packaging, and rollout.
-   Monitor PL performance (sales, margin, market share within category) and adjust strategy accordingly.
-   Benchmark competitor Private Label offerings and market trends to keep the portfolio competitive and differentiated.
-   Build and manage the PL budget, sales, and margin targets in line with company objectives.
-   Ensure compliance with relevant quality, safety, and regulatory standards for all PL products.
-   Mentor and, as the function grows, potentially build out a dedicated Private Label team.

## Requirements

-   Minimum 7–8 years of commercial experience within the retail sector.
-   Proven, demonstrable track record in developing and scaling a Private Label portfolio.
-   Strong understanding of retail commercial fundamentals: category management, pricing, margin management, and negotiation.
-   Experience working cross-functionally with procurement/sourcing, marketing, quality, and operations teams.
-   Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
-   Fluent in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
-   Exposure to the Lebanese retail/PL market is a plus, but not required.
