## Description

**The Role**

We are hiring a **Commercial Sales Manager** to lead a growing sales team (5–9 people), manage key industrial accounts, and drive sustainable commercial growth.

This is a field-based leadership position, split between Erbil and Greece, with a back-to-back rotation structure shared with another Director. While one Director is in Erbil, the other supports remotely from Greece, ensuring 360° coverage and operational continuity.

**This is not a remote role. It requires on-the-ground leadership, daily involvement in sales activities, and regular field visits to clients.**

As the exclusive importer and distributor of Cyclon, Klüber, and TotalEnergies industrial lubricants in Iraq, we have built a trusted reputation over the past 12 years across the region’s heavy industry sector.

**XLNT Company** represents Ziyut Al Adaa in Greece. Both companies operate under the same management, ensuring seamless coordination and a shared commitment to exceptional service, technical support, and maintaining a strong market presence in Iraq and the broader Middle East.

With consistent 15–20% annual financial growth, our group is expanding rapidly. However, Iraq’s socio-political development does not progress at the same pace, making cultural adaptability and hands-on leadership in the field essential for long-term success.

As we prepare to expand more deeply into the Iraqi market and other Middle Eastern countries, we are building a strong commercial leadership team to drive results, scale operations, and lead our sales engine. This is a long-term role with real responsibility and upside.

## Requirements

-   Fluent in English (Arabic or Kurdish a plus).
-   Education**:** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
-   Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in industrial sectors (lubricants a strong advantage).
-   Proven leader with team management and field sales experience.
-   Financially literate — understands pricing, margins, exchange rates, and budget implications.
-   Flexible and willing to rotate between Greece and Iraq.
-   Excellent with Excel, ERP systems (Soft1), CRM tools, and general IT workflows.
-   Ambitious, hands-on, and driven to lead real commercial growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

Sales Leadership

-   Own the full sales cycle from large industrial clients to local field accounts.
-   Deliver technical guidance and support for Cyclon, Klüber, and TotalEnergies products.
-   Lead, coach, and expand the sales team, fostering a disciplined and goal-oriented culture.
-   Build trust and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring loyalty and satisfaction.
-   Manage pricing strategy and ensure profitable margins using data-driven analysis.

Commercial & Operational Oversight

-   Coordinate local operations including ordering, supply chain, deliveries, and warehouse interaction.
-   Keep daily operations smooth, fast, and precise — from quote to delivery.
-   Monitor performance and report regularly to company leadership.
-   Evaluate workflows and implement improvements for better results.

Financial Awareness

-   Maintain a strong handle on margins, costs, and basic financial metrics.
-   Think in three currencies (USD, Euro, and local IQD) and evaluate deals accordingly.
-   Work with founders and finance teams to track financial performance and optimize decisions.

Entrepreneurial Growth

-   Identify areas for expansion, new products, or service improvements.
-   Propose and implement scalable systems and business processes.
-   As you grow the business, your responsibilities and rewards will grow accordingly.

Cross-Cultural & Dual-Country Leadership

-   Rotate between Greece and Iraq (8 months minimum stay/year in Erbil) on a pre-set monthly schedule.
-   Quickly adapt to Iraqi business culture with our support.
-   Balance assertive performance management with cultural empathy and respectful team leadership.

## Benefits

**Base Salary** is set at 42.000 Euros net annually:

-   €4,000/month net while on-site in Erbil (max 8,5 months/year)
-   €2,000/month net while based in Greece

The candidate may become eligible for an increase in the base salary should they decide to extend their stay in Erbil beyond nine (9) months, with the total base salary potentially reaching up to €48,000 annually.

**Performance Bonus:**

The bonus structure for this position is intentionally designed to reward exceptional performance and create exponential earning potential linked to the performance of the department managed by the candidate as well as the overall growth in company volumes.

It consists of three core components designed to recognize leadership effectiveness and measurable business expansion.

1\. Annual Basic Bonus (Management & Strategic KPIs)

Target Value: 25% of Annual Base Salary

The annual basic bonus is based on transparent and measurable KPIs distributed as follows:

-   50% – Company Growth & Profitability  
    Focus on volume and revenue growth, margin protection, and overall financial, performance.
-   20% – Team Building & Development  
    Hiring, onboarding, training, performance improvement, and building a sustainable sales structure.
-   10% – Registration & Onboarding of New Key Accounts  
    Acquisition and successful activation of strategically important clients.
-   20% – Expansion into New Sectors or Geographic Regions  
    Measurable entry into new markets and diversification of revenue streams.

2\. Sales Growth Bonus (Annual Increase in Sold Liters)

The sales bonus is structured in performance tiers and is payable based on the percentage increase in total liters sold Year-over-Year (YoY).

-   Bonus eligibility is triggered starting from minimum 5% YoY growth.
-   Higher growth percentages unlock higher tier payouts.

3\. Performance Accelerator (Multi Brand Volume-Based Multiplier)

The Accelerator is an additional bonus component applied on top of the Sales Growth Bonus.

It is calculated based on the incremental increase in total liters sold across the brands represented by the company.

This mechanism rewards exceptional performance and creates an exponential earning opportunity when overall company volumes significantly increase.

Overall Bonus Earning Potential:

Total annual bonus payout may reach up to 110% of the annual base salary, strictly subject to measurable performance results.
