## Description

**Overview**

**Bassett Healthcare Network**_**,**_ a progressive, academic health system in Central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons,  is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Department of Surgery - Division of Surgical Oncology.

-   **Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000**
-   **Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000**
-   **Location: Cooperstown, NY**

**Job Description & Responsibilities**

-   Join an established General Surgery group of 10 Surgeons and 6 Advanced Practice Clinicians
-   Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
-   This individual will fill an integral role with the operative team as first assistant to Oncologic surgeons including Robotic surgeons
-   Responsibilities may also include clinic and hospital coverage (rounding, admitting and consulting) as needed
-   Previous surgical experience preferred however new grads are encouraged to apply

## Requirements

**Job Qualifications**

-   National Certification as a Physician Assistant - NCCPA
-   NYS Licensure
-   BLS Certification
-   DEA Required

**Compensation**

-   Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000
