## Description

**Position Summary**

Responsible for the cleaning of plant production equipment and facility. Oversees the Sanitation Team in the day-to-day cleaning and sanitation of plant equipment and the plant environment in a thorough and safe manner.

**Essential Job Functions**

-   Manage direct reports, including training, evaluation, development, and coaching of employees.
-   Conduct safety audits, attend safety meetings, and report unsafe conditions.
-   Complete accurate production reporting, including timesheets.
-   Utilize troubleshooting skills to resolve sanitation issues in a timely manner.
-   Practice continuous improvement and maintain a quality-first mindset.
-   Perform other duties as assigned.

## Requirements

**Minimum Qualifications**

-   High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

-   One year of sanitation experience.

-   One year of leadership experience.
-   Knowledge of and ability to enforce Food Safety practices, including HACCP, GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, and SQF.
-   Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, maintain a professional demeanor, and work independently as well as within a team environment.
-   Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  
**Preferred Qualifications**

-   Two years of sanitation experience.
-   Two years of leadership experience.
-   Bilingual. 

**Physical Requirements**

-   Regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers in repetitive motions.
-   Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach above the head.
-   Occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear.
-   Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds.
-   Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
-   Exposure to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles.
-   Work environment noise levels range from normal office settings to loud factory or warehouse settings.

**Work Environment**

-   Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and any shift assignment.
-   Ability to work in temperature conditions ranging from 35°F to 95°F, with occasional exposure to temperatures above 95°F.
