### **Your Impact**

Our Mobile Engineering team is at the heart of delivering high‑performance, customer‑facing mobile experiences across our flagship Ladbrokes and Neds apps.

You’ll play a pivotal role in building and evolving native iOS or Android applications used by millions across Australia and New Zealand. With a major platform transformation underway, you’ll help drive our shift from React Native to fully native mobile engineering shaping the future of our mobile ecosystem.

This role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne, with flexibility for hybrid working.

### **A Day in the Life**

-   Lead and contribute to the development of large‑scale native mobile applications (iOS or Android).
-   Build, optimise, and maintain core mobile functionality with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
-   Collaborate closely with Product, Design, SRE, and Engineering teams to deliver high‑quality features.
-   Support and accelerate the transition from React Native to fully native mobile platforms.
-   Participate in architectural discussions and influence technical direction across mobile teams.
-   Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and champion engineering best practices.
-   Troubleshoot complex issues across the mobile stack and contribute to continuous improvement.
-   Work autonomously to deliver high‑impact features aligned with product roadmaps.

### **Your Strengths**

-   Proven commercial experience as a **Senior iOS Engineer** (Swift / SwiftUI) or **Senior Android Engineer** (Kotlin / Jetpack Compose).
-   Experience delivering complex, high‑traffic mobile applications at scale.
-   Strong understanding of native mobile architecture, performance optimisation, and platform best practices.
-   Ability to write clean, well‑tested, maintainable code and provide constructive feedback through code reviews.
-   Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across distributed teams.
-   Experience working across multiple brands or large‑scale consumer apps is highly regarded.
-   Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, mobile tooling, and modern development workflows.
