## Description

Job Title: **External Cleaning Operative**

Location: **Glasgow City Centre**

Shift Pattern : **Monday to Sunday, working 0500-1700 or 0500-1400 over three week rota.**

Working hours. **43 per week.**

Pay rate. **£14.20 per hour**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Pressure Washing.

Grafitti removal

• Litter pick and sweep of designated streets within Glasgow City Centre.

• Detail work i.e. removing adhesives from bollards, barriers, bins, phone boxes and utility boxes.

• Following group and company policies and procedures

• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.

• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.

• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager.

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

Good attendance

• Work to routine schedules

• Be able to proactively find tasks

• Ability to work on their own and as a team

• Excellent timekeeping

• Good communication skills
