Designer Group is a leading international mechanical and electrical engineering contractor delivering high-profile projects across Europe in sectors including data centres, life sciences, commercial, industrial and energy.

We are seeking an experienced onsite Electrical Store Person to join our project team on a major construction project in Newbridge, Kildare.

The successful candidate will have experience in receiving and controlling electrical materials, processing Goods Received Notes (GRNs), managing stock levels, and working closely with site teams and suppliers to ensure projects run efficiently.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Manage the day-to-day operation, organisation and security of the site stores.
-   Receive, inspect and record deliveries, ensuring accurate GRNs and documentation.
-   Maintain stock levels through regular stock takes and accurate inventory control.
-   Issue materials to site teams and coordinate material call-offs with approved suppliers.
-   Ensure correct procedures are followed for material receiving, storage, preservation and distribution.
-   Liaise with site management, procurement and suppliers to resolve delivery discrepancies and material requirements.
-   Record and manage excess, unwanted and returned materials, including the removal and disposal of scrap.
-   Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety standards and efficient delivery processes.
-   Work collaboratively with site teams to improve productivity, safety, quality and processes.

## Requirements

-   3+ years’ experience as a Storeperson or Materials Controller within Electrical, M&E, Construction or Engineering.
-   Good knowledge of electrical materials and stock control processes.
-   Experience with GRNs, inventory management and supplier coordination.
-   Strong organisational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
-   Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with stock management systems is an advantage.
-   Reliable, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
