We are looking for a **Senior DevOps Engineer** to join us as part of our team.

### **About the role**

-   Terraform: Proficiency in writing reusable modules and managing state for multi-environment setups (Dev/Staging/Prod).
-   AWS Organizations: Understanding of multi-account strategies and Service Control Policies (SCPs).
-   Orchestration: Deep knowledge of EKS, including Managed Node Groups vs. Fargate, Cluster Autoscaler etc..
-   Helm: Ability to manage complex application releases using Helm charts.
-   Service Mesh (Optional but Preferred): Istio or Linkerd for mTLS and fine-grained traffic control between microservices.
-   Pipelines: Hands-on experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline.
-   GitOps: Preference for tools like ArgoCD.
-   Automation: Scripting proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash to automate repetitive tasks and custom logic.
-   Security Scanning: Implementation of SAST/DAST in pipelines and container image scanning.
-   Secrets Management: Proficiency in AWS Secrets Manager or HashiCorp Vault
-   Compliance Knowledge: Basic understanding of PCI DSS or SOC2 requirements (e.g., audit logs, data encryption, and access reviews).
-   Auditability: Ensuring every change is tracked in Git and all actions in AWS are logged via CloudTrail and Config.
-   Monitoring: Experience setting up Prometheus and Grafana for K8s metrics.
-   Logging: Implementation of centralized logging (ELK stack, CloudWatch Logs, or Loki).
-   Tracing: Familiarity with AWS X-Ray or OpenTelemetry to debug transaction flows across microservices.
-   Incident Management: Experience with on-call rotations and root cause analysis (RCA).

**About the project**

You will work on a **Payment Orchestration Platform**, a greenfield project designed to optimize transaction processing, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver a seamless user experience. As part of this project, you will have the opportunity to influence its architecture and technical decisions.

**The support team consists of the following roles:**

Project Manager, Service Reliability Lead, Support / DevOps Engineers (3–4)

**Tech Stack**

AWS Core Services: VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, and KMS

**Work Environment**

Work within the EU time zone (UTC+1/UTC+2), which is 2 hours behind Ukraine.

### As a qualified expert, You will

-   Own and support day-to-day DevOps activities across development, staging, and production environments.
-   Design, maintain, and optimise secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
-   Manage Kubernetes environments and support containerised application deployments.
-   Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation processes.
-   Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform reliability.
-   Maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GitOps practices.
-   Collaborate with development and security teams to improve system performance and stability.
-   Support security, compliance, and DevSecOps initiatives across infrastructure and deployment processes.
-   Troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident response, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
-   Ensure high availability, reliability, and operational excellence of cloud platforms and services.
-   Continuously improve deployment workflows, operational processes, and infrastructure standards.

### **We’re looking for you if you have:**

-   3–5 years in DevOps/SRE roles
-   2+ years on AWS
-   familiarity with DevSecOps
