About J. Blanton Plumbing

J. Blanton Plumbing is one of the fastest-growing plumbing and home service companies in the U.S. As we continue expanding into new markets, including our **Columbus, Ohio office**, we’re building a field marketing team to help us grow our presence within local communities.

We’re looking for a **Field Marketer** who enjoys being out in the community, working independently, and taking an active role in helping a growing company reach more homeowners.

This is a hands-on, field-based marketing position focused on increasing local brand visibility through **door hanging, yard sign placement, neighborhood outreach, and other grassroots marketing initiatives**.

This is a **temporary independent contractor position** for someone who enjoys driving, working outdoors, staying active, and working independently. You’ll drive a **J. Blanton branded vehicle** throughout assigned neighborhoods while supporting grassroots marketing efforts through **door hanger distribution and yard sign placement**.

What You’ll Do  

-   Drive a J. Blanton branded vehicle throughout assigned Columbus neighborhoods and service areas
-   Distribute door hangers in assigned neighborhoods
-   Place, maintain, and relocate company yard signs in approved locations
-   Follow daily routes and schedules provided by the marketing team
-   Keep marketing materials organized and properly stored
-   Track completed routes and field marketing activities
-   Identify neighborhoods and areas with strong opportunities for increased brand visibility
-   Communicate regularly with the marketing team regarding daily progress and observations
-   Represent J. Blanton Plumbing professionally and respectfully within the community
-   Support additional local marketing initiatives as the Columbus market continues to grow.

## Requirements

Who We're Looking For  
The ideal candidate is:

-   Reliable, punctual, and highly responsible
-   Comfortable driving throughout the Columbus area
-   Comfortable working outdoors and walking for extended periods
-   Self-motivated and able to work independently
-   Comfortable using a phone/mobile device to track assignments and communicate with the team
-   Organized and able to follow routes, schedules, and daily activity goals
-   Professional, friendly, and respectful when interacting with homeowners and community members
-   Comfortable lifting and carrying marketing materials and yard signs
-   Previous experience in **delivery driving, route driving, field marketing, canvassing, merchandising, brand promotion, or community outreach** is a plus

Requirements  

-   Valid driver's license
-   Reliable transportation to/from the work area
-   Responsible driving history
-   Ability to work outdoors and walk for extended periods
-   Ability to lift and carry marketing materials and yard signs
-   Strong reliability and attendance
-   **Must be comfortable working as a temporary independent contractor**
