**This role is for one of Weekday’s clients  
Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 500000 (ie INR 4 - 5 LPA)**

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fashion, textiles, colour, silhouettes, and surface development, along with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

The role will involve supporting the design team throughout the creative process, from research and concept development to sampling and final collection execution.

## Requirements

**Key Responsibilities**

\-Assist in developing seasonal and occasion-based collections.  
\-Conduct research on trends, silhouettes, colours, fabrics, techniques, and references.  
\-Develop mood boards, concept boards, colour palettes, and collection stories.  
\-Assist in creating fashion illustrations, technical sketches, and design sheets.  
\-Work on fabric, embroidery, print, embellishment, and surface-development concepts.  
\-Source and research fabrics, trims, embroideries, and other materials.  
\-Coordinate with sampling and production teams for design development.  
\-Review samples and provide inputs on fit, colour, detailing, fabric, and finishing.  
\-Maintain design files, sample records, and collection documentation.  
\-Assist in ensuring the final product reflects the original design vision.  
\-Stay updated with relevant fashion, textile, and design trends.

**Requirements**   
\-2–5 years of experience in fashion design or a related field.  
\-Degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related discipline preferred.  
\-Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, embroidery, and surface techniques.  
\-Good sense of colour, proportion, detailing, and aesthetics.  
\-Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or similar design software preferred.  
\-Strong sketching and visualisation skills.  
\-Good communication and organisational skills.  
\-High attention to detail and willingness to work hands-on.
