## Description

-   Lead, mentor, and develop the Storage and Backup team, managing priorities, on-call coverage, and escalations.
-   Oversee the day-to-day operations, monitoring, performance, and overall health of the PowerMax and PowerStore storage environments.
-   Manage storage provisioning, capacity planning, performance optimization, upgrades, and migration activities.
-   Own and manage the backup and data protection environment across PPDM, Commvault, and Data Domain.
-   Ensure backup and recovery operations meet defined RPO and RTO requirements, including regular recovery testing and validation.
-   Lead disaster recovery planning, testing, and coordination during incidents and recovery scenarios.
-   Ensure compliance with applicable security, data retention, and ransomware resilience requirements.
-   Drive automation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives, while providing management with regular reports on capacity, utilization, SLAs, and overall service performance.

## Requirements

-   4+ Years in similar role.
-   Expert hands-on experience with Dell PowerMax and PowerStore storage arrays.
-   Strong experience with Power Protect Data Manager (PPDM), Commvault, and Dell Data Domain.
-   Solid knowledge of SAN/NAS (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, SMB), replication, and DR concepts.
-   Familiarity with virtualization (VMware) and its storage integration.
-   Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

**Preferred**

-   Relevant Dell Technologies certifications and VMware certification (VCP).
-   Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python).
-   Experience with immutable/air-gapped backups and ransomware recovery.
-   Familiarity with ITIL processes.
