### **Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical (MS) Unit**

**WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate (Less than 75 miles)**

  
**Assignment Type:** Travel Contract  
**Shift:** 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM  
**Schedule:** Block scheduling is not guaranteed  
**Floating:** Required  
**Scrub Color:** Navy Blue

We are seeking an experienced **Travel Registered Nurse (RN)** for a **Medical-Surgical (MS)** unit. This role involves caring for adult patients with a variety of post-surgical and medical conditions in a fast-paced hospital setting.

**Specialty:** Medical-Surgical (MS)

**Patient Population:** Adult patients

**Common Diagnoses:**

-   Post-surgical care
-   Abdominal pain
-   Cholelithiasis
-   Osteoarthritis
-   Fractures
-   Back pain
-   Bariatric (morbid obesity) surgery patients

**Equipment Used:**

-   IV pumps
-   Nasogastric (N/G) tubes
-   Feeding tubes

**EMR System:** EPIC (experience required)

## Requirements

-   Minimum **2+ years of Medical-Surgical experience**
-   **Current AHA BLS Certification**

-   Active **New York RN License**
-   Verification of all active RN licenses
