### About the Client

Our client is an e-commerce agency that works exclusively with subscription CPG brands in food, beverage, supplements, and health & wellness. We help brands convert and retain customers through Shopify optimization and Klaviyo retention marketing.

### About the Role

This is not a paid media role.

This is not a traditional lifecycle marketing role.

The primary focus of this position is owning CRO strategy, Shopify site optimization, A/B testing programs, and managing website development projects from concept to implementation.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying growth opportunities, prioritizing testing roadmaps, managing cross-functional teams, and driving measurable improvements in conversion rates, average order value, customer experience, and revenue.

You'll work closely with designers, developers, project managers, and clients to ensure Shopify enhancements are strategically prioritized, properly executed, and continuously optimized.

You are a Shopify growth strategist who understands how to improve conversion rates, optimize customer experiences, manage website projects, and drive measurable business outcomes.

### Key Responsibilities

### CRO & Growth Strategy

-   Own conversion rate optimization strategies for Shopify-based subscription brands.
-   Analyze customer behavior, site performance, conversion funnels, and testing data to identify growth opportunities.
-   Develop and prioritize CRO roadmaps focused on increasing conversion rates, AOV, retention, and revenue.
-   Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests using data-driven methodologies.
-   Identify opportunities across landing pages, PDPs, cart flows, checkout experiences, bundles, subscription offers, and merchandising.

### Shopify Site Development Management

-   Lead Shopify optimization projects from planning through launch.
-   Translate business goals into actionable project requirements and development priorities.
-   Coordinate workflows between designers, developers, and client stakeholders.
-   Manage project timelines, testing schedules, QA processes, and implementation plans.
-   Prioritize initiatives based on business impact and revenue potential.

### Client Relationship Management

-   Act as the primary strategic point of contact for assigned clients.
-   Present recommendations, testing plans, and performance insights.
-   Build trusted relationships and become a strategic growth partner.
-   Lead recurring performance reviews and planning sessions.

### Team Leadership

-   Collaborate with project managers, developers, designers, and technical leads.
-   Ensure projects are delivered on time and at a high standard.
-   Drive accountability, communication, and execution across cross-functional teams.

## Requirements

### Must-Have Experience

-   5+ years of experience in eCommerce, Shopify growth, CRO, or digital optimization roles.
-   Proven experience owning conversion rate optimization initiatives for Shopify stores.
-   Experience managing Shopify site enhancement and development projects.
-   Strong understanding of UX, customer journey optimization, conversion psychology, and merchandising.
-   Experience designing and managing A/B testing programs.
-   Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable growth initiatives.
-   Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
-   Experience working with designers and developers to execute website improvements.

Nice-to-Have Experience

-   Experience with subscription-focused Shopify brands.
-   Familiarity with subscription platforms such as Recharge, Skio, Stay.ai, Loop, or Ordergroove.
-   Experience with Intelligems, Hotjar, GA4, Shopify Analytics, and other CRO tools.
-   Knowledge of Klaviyo and retention marketing strategies.
-   Experience within health, wellness, supplements, food, beverage, or other CPG categories.
