## Description

**COSMOTE Global Solutions NV** is seeking a highly skilled **Senior DevOps Engineer** to join our dynamic team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations to enable efficient and reliable delivery of software products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, monitoring system health, and ensuring security compliance across our cloud and on-premise environments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Manage Change, Incident, Problem, Deployment, and Release processes
-   Define, implement, and maintain EIB release and deployment processes
-   Act as coordinator within IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
-   Package and document releases in line with EIB policies
-   Provide day - to - day operational support activities
-   Take ownership of requests and incidents, acting as Single Point of Contact for IT users and, where applicable, GIS/BTS departments
-   Monitor, follow up, and ensure resolution of issues
-   Identify opportunities for improvement and automation of processes
-   Produce, review, and maintain operational documentation
-   Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations
-   Configure and maintain applications and tools across all technical layers
-   Use DevOps tools to support CI/CD processes

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
-   Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
-   The consultant must demonstrate knowledge in:

-   DevOps methodologies and release management
-   ITIL best practices (incident and release management)
-   Enterprise databases (Sybase ASE, Oracle)
-   Scripting and programming (Bash, Groovy, Python, Java or equivalent)
-   Web and middleware technologies (Tomcat, Nginx, Apache, JBoss EAP)
-   Version control and DevOps ecosystem (GitHub incl. Copilot, Azure DevOps)

-   Enterprise platforms and tools (Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Jira DC/Cloud, Matomo, Codescene)  
      
    

-   The consultant must demonstrate competence in:

-   End-to-end management of enterprise platforms in on premise environments
-   Continuous improvement and automation of operational processes
-   Release planning, coordination, and execution
-   Incident handling, analysis, and resolution ownership
-   Risk and impact assessment
-   Effective follow up, coordination, and issue tracking
-   System, application, and architecture troubleshooting
-   Performance monitoring and debugging (Linux/Windows)
-   Database and middleware operations (Oracle, Sybase, JBoss)
-   Use of DevOps toolchains to support CI/CD delivery
-   Clear communication and collaboration across teams
