**Contract:** 8 Weeks

We are currently looking for an experienced **Electrician** to join an industrial and commercial electrical installation project in Hampshire on an initial **8-week contract**.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation works safely, efficiently and to a high standard, working as part of an experienced site team.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Carry out electrical installation works across an industrial/commercial project.
-   Install, maintain and terminate electrical systems and equipment.
-   Read and interpret electrical drawings, including **SLD and BCD drawings**.
-   Complete installation works in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements.
-   Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations.
-   Work alongside the Electrical Supervisor and wider site team.
-   Identify and report any technical or site-based issues.
-   Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
-   Follow all site health & safety procedures and RAMS.
-   Ensure electrical works comply with **BS7671 / 18th Edition** requirements.

## Requirements

-   Relevant **Gold CSCS / ECS Card**.
-   Proven experience working as an **Electrician**.
-   Strong industrial and/or commercial electrical installation experience.
-   **18th Edition BS7671**.
-   Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
-   Good understanding of site health & safety requirements.
-   Full UK driving licence.
-   Right to work in the UK.
-   Good communication skills and a reliable approach to work.

### Desirable Qualifications / Experience

-   ECS qualification/card.
-   EUSR / Water Hygiene.
-   Thames Water Passport.
-   Inspection & Testing experience.
-   IPAF.
-   Confined Space.
-   Previous experience working within the **utilities sector**.
-   Experience with MEICA installation projects.
-   Experience working on industrial or water-related electrical installations.
