About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Serve as a senior engineer on a compact, high-ownership team, designing and delivering software across the stack. The work covers backend services, third-party API integration, production reliability, testing and close partnership with product and data colleagues.

What you'll do

\- Deliver features end to end for a software platform, spanning server-side services and user-facing components.

\- Integrate external APIs and services into production systems.

\- Partner with several product groups to deliver capabilities that meet customer needs and support platform growth.

\- Investigate and tune live systems, balancing performance, cost and reliability.

\- Write automated tests and help keep release processes dependable.

\- Collaborate closely with product and machine learning colleagues in a fast-paced setting where engineers handle several initiatives at once.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including work at a senior level.

\- Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript.

\- Full-stack experience delivering scalable software in a startup or high-growth setting.

\- Hands-on experience integrating APIs and building dependable backend services.

\- Familiarity with relational databases, cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.

\- A self-directed, entrepreneurial approach and comfort owning work from start to finish.

\- Based in the United States or Canada with valid work authorization.

Bonus points

\- Background in developer experience, site reliability or platform engineering.

\- Practical experience working with large language models.
