**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are excited to introduce the **Unified Legacy Welding Academy**, a comprehensive, hands-on training program designed to transform motivated individuals into skilled aluminum welders for our enclosure production team. No prior welding experience is required. Participants will receive four weeks of paid, hands-on instruction from experienced professionals, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to succeed. Graduates who successfully complete the program and meet established performance standards will earn a guaranteed position on our enclosure production line, providing a clear pathway to a rewarding career with Unified Legacy.

This is a highly competitive opportunity, and candidates are selected through an assessment process rather than filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage interested applicants to apply early and put their strongest foot forward.

This program is currently focused on aluminum welding. As it grows, we expect to expand training to additional welding processes company-wide.

**AT A GLANCE**

**Location** Prince Service and Manufacturing — D2 building, Macon, GA

**Employment Type** Full-time; paid training program with guaranteed job placement upon successful completion

**Training Schedule** Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, for 4 weeks (includes a paid 30-minute lunch)

**Training Pay** $16.00 per hour during the 4-week academy

## Requirements

**WHAT YOU'LL LEARN**

The Welding Academy combines classroom instruction with extensive hands-on lab time:

- **Week 1 — Classroom:** safety fundamentals, equipment orientation, the parts and function of the welding machine, and an introduction to different welding processes.
- **Weeks 2–4 — Hands-On Lab:** approximately 40 hours per week of guided welding practice, starting with machine setup and progressing to independent practice. The group returns to the classroom as needed to address any recurring issues.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

We're looking for candidates who are reliable, coachable, and ready to build a hands-on trade skill:

- No prior welding experience required — interest in or basic familiarity with welding is a plus, and candidates with some experience may progress faster.
- Strong culture fit and willingness to learn in a classroom-and-lab environment.
- Ability to stand, bend, and work with hand tools and equipment for extended periods in a shop/manufacturing environment.
- Reliable attendance for the full 4-week, Monday–Friday training schedule.

**EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS**

Because trainees are employees from day one, all candidates must complete the standard new-hire process — including drug screening, background check, and physical — before the academy start date.

## Benefits

**COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & PROGRAM DETAILS**

- **Pay:** $16/hour during training. Trainees are employees on payroll from day one of the academy.
- **Job Placement:** Guaranteed position on the enclosure line upon successful completion of the program and satisfactory performance.
- **Education Credit:** Academy coursework may optionally count toward a welding certificate through Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC). This is not required to participate.
