## Description

Okie Staffing is hiring an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper. This role is a great fit for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing bookkeeping responsibilities with advanced QuickBooks knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with **QuickBooks**, chart of accounts, billing, invoicing, expense tracking, account reconciliation, and general bookkeeping functions. Sales tax knowledge is a strong plus.

### Responsibilities

The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and help with supporting the day-to-day accounting needs of the business.

Duties may include:

-   Manage bookkeeping functions using **QuickBooks or similar accounting software**
-   Maintain and understand the **chart of accounts**
-   Process billing, invoices, payments, and expense tracking
-   Track accounts payable and accounts receivable
-   Assist with monthly financial reporting and account review
-   Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
-   Communicate professionally with internal team members, vendors, and customers
-   Assist management with accounting-related questions and reporting needs

## Requirements

-   Prior bookkeeping experience required
-   Advanced QuickBooks experience strongly preferred
-   Strong understanding of chart of accounts and general ledger activity
-   Billing, invoicing, and expense tracking experience
-   Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-   Ability to work as a team and independently
-   Comfortable working in a mid-volume industrial office environment
-   Sales tax knowledge is a plus
-   Must be dependable, professional, and able to meet deadlines

### Preferred Experience

-   Industrial, construction, manufacturing, service, or distribution industry experience
-   Experience handling multiple accounts, vendors, or job/customer billing
-   Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills
-   Experience preparing reports for ownership or management
-   Will require a national background and drug test
