### Job Overview

D&L is hiring a **General Laborer** to join our team in **Apple Grove, WV!**

This is a hands-on position supporting our commercial and industrial HVAC and construction operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, willing to work, comfortable working with their hands, and ready to learn.

**No previous HVAC experience is required!** We are looking for someone with a good work ethic who wants an opportunity to learn a skilled trade and grow with a long-term company.

### What You'll Do

-   Assist HVAC technicians, installers, and other crew members with daily jobsite tasks
-   Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
-   Assist with installation, demolition, and general construction activities
-   Help prepare jobsites and maintain a clean and organized work area
-   Use basic hand tools and power tools as directed
-   Assist with ductwork, equipment, piping, and other HVAC-related work
-   Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced technicians
-   Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures
-   Wear required PPE and maintain a safe work environment
-   Perform other general labor duties as needed

## Requirements

### What We're Looking For

-   Previous construction, mechanical, HVAC, or industrial experience is helpful but **not required**
-   Willingness to learn and take direction
-   Dependable and punctual
-   Strong work ethic and positive attitude
-   Comfortable performing physical labor and working on your feet
-   Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as needed
-   Comfortable working indoors and outdoors and in varying weather conditions
-   Ability to work safely around tools, equipment, and active jobsites
-   Valid driver's license required
-   Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
