## Description

**Job Summary:**

The Fluid Technician is responsible for supporting hydraulic fracturing operations by mixing, monitoring, and maintaining fluid systems at customer locations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring fluid performance, operational efficiency, and safety throughout frac operations. The ideal candidate will have prior frac experience and a strong understanding of oilfield service operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Prepare, mix, and monitor fracturing fluid systems according to job requirements.
-   Assist with the loading, handling, and transfer of chemicals and additives used in frac operations.
-   Monitor fluid properties and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
-   Maintain accurate records of fluid usage, inventory, and field reports.
-   Troubleshoot fluid-related issues and communicate effectively with field supervisors and customer representatives.
-   Inspect, clean, and maintain fluid handling equipment and related tools.
-   Adhere to all company, customer, and regulatory safety policies and procedures.
-   Participate in pre-job safety meetings, job planning, and post-job reviews.
-   Work collaboratively with frac crews and other field personnel to ensure efficient and successful operations.

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or GED required.
-   Previous hydraulic fracturing (frac) experience required.
-   Experience working with crosslinked (X-Link/XLink) fluid systems preferred.
-   Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
-   Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as required.
-   Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
-   Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-   Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
-   Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings and comply with customer site requirements.

**Schedule:**

-   Rotation Schedule: **2 weeks on / 1 week off**
-   **Per diem & company truck available**
-   Overtime opportunities available

**Preferred Qualifications:**

-   Experience with crosslinked fluid systems (X-Link/XLink).
-   Prior experience supporting pressure pumping or frac operations in the oil and gas industry.
-   Knowledge of fluid chemistry, additives, and blending processes.
