**The Role**

• **Position**: Visual Director

• **Reports to**: Brand Director (Alan)

• **Location**: HQ (Open to global locations, foreign nationals preferred)

• **Employment Type**: Full-time

**Role Overview** As the Visual Director, you will be the ultimate guardian of VIVAIA's visual identity, establishing and maintaining a unified, high-standard aesthetic across all brand touchpoints globally.

**What You'll Do**

• **Defining Visual Standards**: Establishing and elevating the brand's visual guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels and touchpoints.

• **Managing Creative Output**: Overseeing the creation and execution of all visual assets, from campaigns to daily social media content.

• **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Working closely with the Brand Director, Social Media, PR, and E-commerce teams to align visual strategies with overall brand and business goals.

• **Guiding the Team**: Providing clear direction, feedback, and mentorship to internal designers and external creative partners.

• **Trend Forecasting**: Staying ahead of global fashion, design, and visual trends to keep the brand's aesthetic fresh and relevant.

**Who You Are**

• **Experience**: Extensive experience in visual design, art direction, or a similar role, preferably within the fashion, lifestyle, or editorial (magazine) industries.

• **Hard Skills**: Exceptional portfolio demonstrating a high level of aesthetic judgment, strong conceptual thinking, and proficiency in industry-standard design tools.

• **Soft Skills**: Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate visual concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

• **Values Alignment**: A shared commitment to sustainability, innovation, and creating a positive impact through design.

• **Must-have**:

◦ Proven track record of leading visual direction for a global brand or high-profile publication.

◦ Exceptional aesthetic sensibility with a deep understanding of Western/global market trends.

◦ Fluent in English (working language).

◦ Experience working with cross-cultural teams.

◦ Familiarity with AI-driven design tools and workflows.
