## Description

**Asia's leading robotics solutions provider,** automating enterprise supply chains since 2017. We build syncOS — the industry-first no-code platform that lets manufacturers and warehouse operators integrate, reprogram, and scale automation systems without halting production or calling in specialists. Our autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) run 24/7 for global brands like Ford, Coca-Cola, and Kimberly-Clark — transforming production lines in hours, not weeks.

We started as roboticists ourselves. We know the pain of fragmented, proprietary systems that refuse to talk to each other. syncOS is our answer — and we believe it's what the industry has been waiting for. We are a young, passionate team chasing one big mission.

**WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE FOR THIS ROLE**

- **3 months:**

- Deep understanding of syncOS, the fleet it orchestrates, and how it runs in live customer environments
- Release and deployment process owned end-to-end - every build clearly certified, every deployment owned and reversible
- Established as the single technical point of contact for the delivery organisation
- Team assessed, and the lead structure for scaling in place

- **6 months:**

- Site deployment reliability consistently at target across live customers — repeatable and process-driven
- Interface contracts between syncOS and the fleet published and enforced; teams build to a clear spec
- Manager layer running well, with depth behind every critical capability
- Product discipline visible: platform work and custom work clearly separated, scoped, and priced

-    **12 months:**

- SyncOS reliability is a competitive strength customers choose us for
- A reusable integration catalog with owners and regression tests - each new integration cheaper and faster than the last
- SyncOS engineering scales cleanly into new sites and geographies. A self-sufficient organisation with the bench strength to grow beyond you

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Single technical owner of our software platform – SyncOS.
- Lead the teams building fleet management, integrations, and the platform core, and own the discipline that gets our software running reliably at customer sites, at scale, across geographies.
- The platform, end to end - You own syncOS engineering - fleet management, integrator and dashboard, integration modules, and the platform core and the technical definition of what syncOS is as a product.
- Reliability and release quality - You own how software gets from a merged change to running dependably at a customer site: release gating, staged rollout, post-deploy verification, versioned and reversible deployments, and the observability that catches issues before customers do. Site deployment quality is a core measure of your success.
- DevOps and site delivery of software - The syncOS DevOps function reports to you. Your team owns updates going onto customer sites as a controlled, repeatable release process.
- Architecture and interfaces - You own the interface contracts and data models between syncOS and the integrations - published, enforced, and stable.
- The team - You lead and grow the syncOS engineering organization through a layer of team leads: hiring, structure, mentorship, and building an org where no critical capability rests on a single person.
- Product-mode engineering - You bring the discipline that keeps a platform a platform - a clear spec, a reusable integration catalog with owners and tests, and the judgment to keep bespoke, one-off work from fragmenting the product.

**You will partner closely with:**

- Product:  on what syncOS should do and for whom - you own how it's built and whether it's ready to ship.
- Commissioning & Customer Success: who take your certified releases to customer sites - you are their single technical point of contact.
- Quality: who independently certify releases - you build to the bar and ship what passes it.
- Robotics Engineering: on the interface between the platform and the fleet.

## Requirements

- 10+ years in software engineering, with significant experience leading engineering teams and owning a platform or product end-to-end.
- A track record running engineering for software deployed to real customer or production environments — you treat release gating, staged rollout, and reliability as engineering disciplines, not afterthoughts.
- Hands-on ownership of DevOps and release processes that hold up under real delivery pressure.
- Strong architectural judgment: you can define and enforce interfaces and data models without needing to write every line yourself.
- The ability to lead through team leads and build a healthy manager layer — you're a force multiplier, not the most senior individual contributor.
- Clear, principled decision-making: you can hold a product line against competing pressures and explain the tradeoffs.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, scaling company across distributed teams.

## Benefits

- Competitive salary
- Comprehensive health benefits package
- Hustle of a young startup, always something to do and something to improve
- Opportunities for professional development and growth into management roles
- Collaborative and inclusive work environment
